We offer you a very easy and tasty recipe that is also perfect for those who follow a vegan diet or for those who are lactose intolerant, which we are sure will also be appreciated by your guests.
Do you also love the famous American biscuits? Well, the combination of chocolate and cannabis will win you over without a shadow of a doubt: they are excellent at the end of a meal, as a snack and for releasing physical tension. Given the irresistible taste, we advise you to measure the doses well and not get caught up in gluttony.
This recipe requires the use of cannabis-infused coconut oil ( alternatively you can use cannabis butter ), you can find the recipe for it here:
- Preparation time: 10 minutes. Cooking time: 12-15 minutes. Dosage for one biscuit: approximately 1.5g of inflorescences; this measurement is indicative and varies on how strong you want your cannabis coconut oil. It is advisable to stick to the minimum dosage, because these biscuits are very tempting.
- UTENSILS: 2 large bowls, a 25cm baking tray, baking tray-sized baking paper, baking rack, scraper, sieve.
INGREDIENTS:
- 140ml of cannabis infused coconut oil
- 1 cup of sugar
- ½ cup almond milk
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 250g of vegan chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- For our coconut oil infusion we used our Bubble Kush
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 200°
- Heat the cannabis coconut oil until it becomes liquid. Better to avoid using the microwave, just put it in a bain-marie or on a radiator or near any other heat source (but avoiding extreme ones).
- In one of the bowls mix the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla essence, almond milk, corn starch, water and coconut-cannabis oil; to put aside.
- In the other bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the oil mix and knead with your hands; It is important to use your hands, your body heat plays a role in this phase. Now the challenge will be to manage not to lick them.
- Add the chocolate chips to the mixture; make sure they are distributed evenly.
- Cover the pan with baking paper.
- Form balls and place on paper; do not crush them, they will flatten into a biscuit shape as they cook.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool and firm on the baking tray, before sliding onto the wire rack to cool completely.
Remember, cannabis edibles can take up to two hours to take effect, we know they're hard to resist, but don't eat too many before you're sure of your dosage. ;)
Good fun!
