All this will be possible with very few steps and with a rather limited time. Since it has no cannabis aromas or aftertastes, you can enjoy it anywhere and at any time of the day, resulting in total stealth (we know you're already thinking about the full thermos flasks that you'll take with you everywhere). Let's proceed without further ado!
STEPS
- The recipe itself is as easy as it sounds, but for best results you will need to use coconut oil or butter . Both oil and butter allow cannabinoids to dissolve into a liquid during the heating phase. Also allowing the body to absorb a greater quantity, with better timing, thanks to the transformation of cannabinoids when they are bound to the fat molecules of both substances.
- Using a small saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil and then add 2 tablespoons of butter or coconut oil. Both work well, but coconut oil is perhaps the healthier choice.
- The amount of marijuana to add depends on personal preference. As always, start with small doses to evaluate the potency of the coffee-cannabis combination. When you have determined the most appropriate quantity, add it to the saucepan. Normally, a "good pinch" per cup is enough. A cup, a pinch of marijuana and so on.
- Simmer the mixture for about 30 minutes. At this stage you need to simmer the liquid slightly (without exaggerating!) to combine the cannabis and oil/butter.
- At this point the mixture is ready to be filtered. This way you will remove all the unnecessary plant matter and be left with a blend containing only the beneficial components of marijuana. You can discard the rest.
- Now you can add the coffee, made with a coffee maker or American. The boiled mixture replaces the water normally used to make coffee. You can also add milk, cream, a sprinkling of cinnamon or nutmeg. It all depends on your personal tastes. Make sure you give your drink a good stir to combine all the ingredients. I assure you that first thing in the morning it will seem like the best cup of coffee you have ever tried.
- One last piece of advice we would like to give you is to make some cannabis butter to keep in the freezer, so you can use it whenever you need it. If you already have it ready, you can skip steps 1-5. Simply heat the butter at a low temperature until it liquefies and add it to the coffee. A delicious cannabis coffee ready in an instant!
