After a heavy workout, it's important to recharge your body and replenish yourself with nutrients. And it never hurts to add a little cannabis to relax those tense muscles.

While pre-workout snacks, like shakes, are great for giving you that extra energy boost before hitting the gym, the post-workout meal requires a good dose of vitamins and a little more substance.

When that craving hits, turn to one of our delicious and nutritious post-workout recipes – low in carbs and fat, but high in cannabis.

Honey Glazed Sativa Salmon

Cannabis Product: Organic Honey Tincture by Baked Edibles

Preparation time : 50 minutes (active: 10 minutes)

Servings: 1

Approximate dosage: 10mg of THC per serving

  • 2 skinless salmon fillets
  • ½ glass of honey
  • 2 teaspoons Baked Edibles Organic Honey Tincture*
  • ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • Sesame seeds

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
  2. In a bowl, mix together cannabis-infused honey*, regular honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a large resealable plastic bag and pour half the honey sauce over them. Seal the bag and shake it lightly to make sure the salmon fillets are well coated in the sauce. Put it in the fridge and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Place the foil in a baking dish, remove the fillets from the bag and carefully place them in the baking dish. Place in the form and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. While the salmon cooks, pour the remaining portion of the honey sauce into a small saucepan and bring to a boil, then reduce the temperature to medium-low and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat and let sit until the icing solidifies.
  6. When the salmon is ready, slowly pour the solidified glaze over it and garnish with a few sesame seeds.
  7. Enjoy your meal!

* As an alternative to infused honey, you can use regular honey and add extra virgin olive oil or cannabis infused butter

*Note: The quantities of cannabis products indicated in these recipes are suggestions only; the actual quantities used should be adjusted based on the concentration of your cannabis products and the effect you desire. Getting the right amount into homemade cannabis edibles can be difficult, so the best way to test the strength is to start with a small portion, wait an hour or two, and then make an informed decision about whether or not to consume more. Always dose carefully and listen to your body, and never drive under the influence of cannabis.
